Hi Jenny. Gosh, it's ages since I did a farmer's market - if I were you I would google craft, farmers, local market for your area. I live in West Yorkshire and I am waiting for some free sundays so that I can take part in the Mosaic Market in Leeds. http://www.mosaic-arts-market.org/
Do your local farmer's makets not have a craft section? Could you not persuade them that it would be good to have one? You are right, though. Indie craft markets are a city thing!
been through those local to me on that list previously and the cheapest i found was about £45 - that was ilford market - but thinking about it thats probably just as difficult to get to as norwich!
The ones around my way are expensive too... maybe we should think about some kind of stall share?? As the group grows, maybe this is an initiative we could start. I would be up for joining in if there is someone close enough to me...
It may take me a while, depending on how my next fair does... I'm hoping to try a stall in Wimbledon soon... if I think it's worth it, it could be a good place for a stall share.
